How to enter
The 2012 Bristol half marathon takes place on Sunday 30 September and is a 2012 runbritain Grand Prix event.

- Minimum age 17 years on race day
- Course accurately measured
- Championchip timing
- Free T shirt to all finishers
- Suitable for experienced wheelchair athletes
- No late entries and no entries on the day
- Race limit 20,000
- 2012 UKA Licence number - 2012-104095
- Closing date Monday 17th September 24.00hrs. Participants entering after 8 July must ensure they are race fit.
NB: Participants are advised that:
All dogs and wheeled carriages other than wheelchairs (racing chairs only) are banned from the race and athletes must not be accompanied or followed by others on cycles.
Entry fees
Member of a UKA affiliated running club or association or BTA triathlon club: please see below. Unattached runner: £33.
Over 60 on race day: £18 (proof of age may be required – if not provided the organisers reserve the right to declare the entry void and any entry fee paid will be retained to cover administration costs).
PLEASE NOTE: There will be an on-line processing fee of £3 per person. Please think carefully before entering as entry fees are not refundable, and places in the race non-transferable.

Club Athlete Special Offers
In a move to encourage more UKA affiliated running clubs or BTA affiliated triathlon clubs to take part, race organisers are offering a special rates to club runners. Details of how to apply for this and other club runner offers can be found below.
British club athletes seeking elite places are asked to Click here to email your request to bristol@frsystems.co.uk to book their free place. Guide times: Men sub 67.30 mins, Women sub 77mins (but we may also consider requests from up-and-coming young athletes). Please send a brief CV with your recent achievements and PB’s setting out your case for being given a reserved elite place to our race administration service who will pass your request on to Bud Baldaro for consideration.

Special Offer - Block booking for your club ?
This offer only applies to UK Athletics affiliated clubs or British Triathlon affiliated clubs.
Applications from other clubs affiliated to a Governing Body of Sport may be considered on application. Please note: this offer is not currently open to general sports or recreational clubs.
UKA clubs wishing to block book places can take advantage of the following deals:
- Buy 10 places @£31 and claim 25% discount

The Club Representative should Click here to email your request to bristol@frsystems.co.uk giving their own name, day time phone number, club name and address plus a spreadsheet of email address for the club members they would like to enter. Once full payment has been received, club members will then each be sent the unique access codes to enter on line. If athlete names are not yet confirmed, block bookings can be paid for in advance and runner names supplied at a later date.
How to enter The Post Company Challenge or transfer your place to the Company Challenge:
The Post Company Challenge is open to teams of employees of any UK registered business, company or corporation. A Prize will be awarded to the fastest team and there are also prizes for the fastest man, woman and vets awards.For further information please see the Company Challenge page of this site.

If you have already booked an individual place in the race and now wish to take part as a member of a company team – please contact FRSystems who will be happy to arrange a transfer (there will be no charge for this service).

Charities wishing to buy Gold Bond places can each request a maximum of 100 places which can be purchased at a cost of £38 per place.
